Nightmare or Dream ?
Today,i have taken my entrance exam,Maths and English exam. I drove to the assement centre and entered the assement room. The room was huge, it even has a basement. My father and brother was searching for a piece of paper that stated my appointment at 2.30pm but couldn't find it. Then my assesser name Mr. James appeared and conducted an exam to test my ability.
He asked me about all of my personal information. e.g. where is your current house? when is your first time arriving to Canada? ...... . He also gave me four pieces fo paper and ordered me to read to the information on the first piece of paper and asked me if it was easy, moderate or difficult. I then answered him, moderate.
Next, he told me to finished off the next 3 papers. The paper was asking about the laws in Canada, and all sort of questions that are related to the laws in Canada. Luckily, i had the first paper to be my guidence. Once I'm done with the paper,i passed it to my asseccer. Then, he did his duty by checking all of my answer and asked me about why do i stated this and that.
I was given my maths paper straight after he was done checking my answer. He told me not to do the questions where he had crossed out. The maths paper was a piece of cake to me only one question,i had doubt on it. The question goes like this:
The slope is -2 and Y intercept with 7. Form the equation.
Y = mX - b
I couldn't remember every single sentences,so i just simplify it.
From the place I sit, I could hear my accesser told my father and brother that i should go to
I waited for my accesser to come and check my paper. He walked to me and said to me that i am allow to go. I raised myself up and walked to my father and brother. I feel like the end of the world,now i will be a year behind you guys, haihz. Now, you will be teaching me, instead of the other way round. The accesser came and repeated all the things he said to my father and brother.
We walked out of the room and walked back home. After we leaved the building, my father said,"its ok, I and your mum had predicted that this is going to happen." He also told me that his friend son had 100 for his English in his school but when he came here, he had to join ESL. That story had make me felt relieved a bit.
When i reached home, my mum told me that it is good to join ESL. She also mentioned that what is the point to go to school and don't understand what they are talking about and lots of things that had comforted me but when I remembered that I am 1 year behind you guys, i felt uncomfortable again.
