The Final Obstacle

Tomorrow, I'll be having my last exam of semester 1,Science. So far... Cooking, English and math are quite easy. Eventhough the exam here is different from Malaysia. It has only 1 paper, very little objective question (around 1-2), lots of subjective questions (more than 20) and shorter time period.

E.g English has only 1 objective question, Math is 90 minutes, cooking is full of subjective question (over 40).

anyway, I have an exam tomorrow, I'll explain evrything tomorrow, for now, I must study.

Burden Lifted

IT'S FINALLY OVER !! No more maths and English project, I've finished it off. It really feels great. For the past few days, I forced myself to be awake all night, till 3-5 in the morning. As a result, I get myself a pair of panda eyes. It isn't very obvious but if you stare at my eye for a moment, you'll notice it. I also skipped lunch to go to the library to finish my work. Well, I don't exactly skipped my lunch, I ate casseroles in my cooking class before lunch. The casserole taste great, probably the best of the worst food I've eaten in the class.

Today, I've hand in both of my projects. I presented my English project to the class, Life Brief Candle. I know ... I've done this before but that was when I was in form 1, 3 years ago. Anyway, I did my presentation and it went well...at least I think so.

In math class, I checked my work before handed it in. At the same time, I was thinking that I mustn't screw this up because I worked extremely hard for the past few days and all my hard work had provide me this wonderful piece of work.

Just when I wish nothing could go wrong, I spotted that my equation was wrong......or so I thought. I quickly erased it off and wrote down my "correct" equation. When I'm done, I noticed that I had erased off the equation of the other lines and replaced it with different equations. I was like
OMG !! OH S*** .

Of course, I rewrote the actual equation of that line but my math teacher told us to hand it in and concentrate on the blackboard because it is important. I was freaking nervous. I can felt the teacher stare from my back. I rewrote the equation as quickly as possible and left it at the side and pay attention to the teacher teaching.

Everything went smooth after that. I've learnt 'The Sine Law' in trigonometry and I've hand my project to the teacher. All I need to do now is study, study, and study. Final exam is in less than a week time.

Time is Running Out

In less than 2 weeks, I'll be attending my final exam of the first semester of grade 10. It just feels like yesterday was my first day of school and tomorrow is the final exam. Time really do fly fast. Now, I really need to study hard but I have 2 big project from my maths and English class disrupting my studies.

I was told by my maths teacher to draw a picture in a huge graph paper and MUST write down EACH equation of lines on a piece of paper. And if I want to get an "A" my picture must has at least 80 lines.(That's a whole lot of work and u have to write down each equation of lines)

English is quite simple but still requires a lot of work. I must find a poem, follow a list of instruction and make it into a pamphlet. The pamphlet has six pages, 3 in front, and 3 behind.
We are told to use 3 pages for the poem things, 1 page as the cover and think of something else to put on the other 2 pages.

Right now, I'm focusing on lifting off these burden. Then, continue my studies.

Bowling

WE BOWL, WE STRIKE, WE SPARE !!

Those are what I did after school. As usual, the ESL club brings the members to places to enjoy and have fun. We were eager to bowl (at least I am) when we arrived at the bowling alley. We entered the bowling alley and we quickly find ourselves a pair of bowling shoe.

Then, we pair ourselves up to a team of 3 and insert our names into the computer/machine. ( I don't know what is the thing called.) Only my team has a team of 4 because the teacher joined in. My team consist of 3 females(2 student and a teacher) and 1 male (me). When I went to my team lane, I was surprised to see how small is the bowling ball and the pins. I don't even know if that is called a bowling ball

The "bowling ball" is so much smaller than the usual ones and it has no holes to put our fingers in. I was like WTH!! The size is definitely no bigger than both of your fist. I had trouble bowling at first and yet I still have trouble with it in the end. Still, I at least defeat the 2 females student.

My teacher is incredible, she has only 5 points left to get 200. Although the way her movement is a bit weird, she can actually bowl. We played for 2 rounds and the game ended. Before leaving, we took a group picture .We head to the bus and went back home.
